City Council candidate Donnie Fuslier received a rejection letter for his request to repeal ordinance 1495. The letter states that his request for repeal was submitted too late. Fuslier believes that is incorrect.
Apparently City Council wants a fight, and I am happy to oblige. So they send me this letter in the first picture (btw the day it was mailed was 01/22) stating that my petition is null and void due to it being filed in an untimely manner. They are trying to use Section 6-01.1 of the Sulphur Home Charter to try to say that I had 30 days from the enaction of Ordinance No. 1495 to file the petition. As you can read below, that is nowhere near what Section 6-01.1 says.
